You’re such an intelligent human. Unfortunately, men like you are a dying breed. My husband (33) had no male role models; we just had a baby, and his way of being a man is to try and be stern (not mean) and 100% unemotional because he thinks only women should be emotional. The first 6 years, he was 100% what you described. Now, I think he’s trying to be a good man an father, just not in the best way.
