Wow, you really went straight for the deep stuff, didn’t you? Big question alert! Okay, so here’s the thing: God creating the world, even knowing it’d include pain and suffering, actually shows His love, not the opposite. Stay with me for a sec.

He didn’t make a bunch of robots programmed to only do good stuff. He gave us free will—aka the ability to make real choices—because love without choice isn’t love at all. Yeah, people can (and do) make bad choices, and that leads to some of the mess we see today. But it also means we can choose kindness, forgiveness, and, most importantly, Him.
