As I’m sure you know, if you place your article under the Medium partner program, you enable the ability to earn money. Right? Cool.
When a member of Medium reads your story, You get a portion of the five dollars that they pay monthly.
Depending on how many members read your story, will tell how much cash you make.
But there’s a trick to this; if you’re creating content that everyone makes, you don’t have a specific group of members reading your articles.
Let me put it this way,
If a member only reads one article a month, and it happens to yours, you get there five dollars.
If five members read your article, and those five members read 500 more articles that month, you’re going to get less than a dollar.
If a nonmember reads your story, you don’t get any money. This is why below, I will get into why topics matter so much.
