The Must-Do’s if You Want to Write For Major Publications

It’s simple to get published with them, but it’s not easy

First of all, before we get started, I have noticed that most people will skim through articles in hopes of finding a quick solution. That isn’t going to happen here; if you want sound and practical advice, the details are what matter. Pay attention.

Writing for the bigger pubs on Medium doesn’t mean you’re going to get more traffic than an L.A. highway, it also doesn’t mean that you will be making thousands of dollars each month.

However, it does mean that being accepted as a writer not only gives you a confidence boost; it also indicates your writing skills are better than you thought, or they are improving.

More prominent publications, or Medium owned pubs, are not a means of accumulating cash or popularity. While you can benefit from writing for them, don’t compromise who you are just to push out articles.
