A lot of people will tell you that we have no viable evidence for the Exodus days — Moses leading his people out of Egypt.
That is simply not true…
There are some things we have to think about when sifting through the morsels of archaeological findings.
1. Egyptian History
The Egyptians were great at keeping records, however, only a small amount of Egyptian papyri have survived from the biblical period in question. Also, in the wet and flooding, Land of Goshen, Nile Delta region, the original structure of buildings is almost next to none—let alone papyrus historical documents.
2. Pharaoh Said What?
The Pharaohs were usually the ones who documented history, and there is no way in living color they would allow something as detrimental as the Israelite exodus to tarnish them.
3. Who is Manetho?
One of the most widely cited early-Egyptian historians is Manetho. A native Egyptian priest and historian thriving in Ptolemaic Sebennytos during the fourth and third centuries b.c.e.
