Not all women in the 50’s had husbands as neurologically damaged as the men you’re talking about. A lot of women in the 50s enjoyed being a stay at home mother, wife, and home keeper because their husbands loved and respected them. Definitely the minority, I do not think most women enjoyed that era. However, there is a major difference between first wave feminism, and modern day feminism.
