My mom told me when I was 10 years old to let her know when I wanted to have sex, and she would get me on birth control. I don’t think I’d tell my daughter that at that age ha ha, but she was always open and honest, and didn’t hold anything back. She explained to me what rape was when I was 13, vividly.
