Let me point out one thing that led me to believing we are all naturally selfish. Take a baby, an 8-month-old baby wants that watch on your hand. That baby is going to keep grabbing for it, you may swat her hand, she's going to cry and get mad, keep trying to get it. Now give that baby the size and strength of a full grown man. That baby wouldn't hesitate to beat you to death, take that watch, and walk away. If anything, I would say that you could find peace within yourself spiritually however you do as you grow. But I do not believe it is in our nature to be born divine in the slightest.
