Listen carefully. Photo above is just one article I wrote on the 11th of April. I made $3,455 in April. I only wrote 15 articles. The article was about sex, so clearly, it’s going to attract traffic. The topic of sex isn’t what you should be paying attention to. What you should be paying attention to is why sex and other specific genres sell.

If you don’t know by now, Medium has a particular system. We pay five dollars a month for membership, correct? Now, I want you to imagine that you’re a reader and not a writer. If you’re paying five dollars a month, you’re spending that so you can read something you’re interested in, correct? OK.
If you didn’t know, the five dollars a month that each member pays gets distributed between those writers’ articles they have read. are you following?
Now I want you to pay attention to what you write.
If I am a reader, and I’m paying five dollars a month, I’m paying that so I can read what I want to read. Why would I want to read anything I can find on Google? Here are some examples.
